Red Fox Soft Mount Taxidermy Kit - DIY Taxidermy
Have you ever wanted to try taxidermy?
Interested in making soft mounts?
Don't know where to start?
Look no further! This kit, along with my 13 page, printed protocol/tutorial with over 25 full color descriptive images (written for a fox but can be used for any species), will help you get started on your soft mount taxidermy journey. It includes a mountable, taxidermy prepped wild red fox pelt, a fox change out head/head form, and glass eyes in your choice of color, and a printed full color copy of my soft mounting tutorial. The tutorial is specifically for a fox but the same steps are used for any species.
Eye color choices are in the images! I also can make custom eyes!
You will still need some other materials to mount your red fox. You will find all the information you need to mount your fox in my soft mounting protocol.
Materials Needed:
Taxidermy tucking tool
Hide paste
T pins
Flat head screwdriver
Critter clay
Bondo putty and hardener
Sandpaper
Acrylic paint/pan pastels
Blow dryer
Sewing needle and thread
Q tips and isopropanol (rubbing alcohol)
Please note that your kit may come with supplies that are not exactly the same as in the images in this listing. Worry not, all the materials will still be similar enough for you to follow the tutorial easily.
