Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, absolutely!

Pelts and animal products are sourced from a variety of circumstances, mostly focused on population control, roadkill or discovered animals, and fur trade rejects that would otherwise be discarded. The way I see it - if population control is going to occur, using all parts of the animal is the best way to honor their life. I am fully against wastefulness, and using ethical sourcing methods is one of the many ways I stand against being wasteful.

  • Turnaround time for custom mounts depend on many factors, including the species and type of mount you want, the availability of the necessary materials (forms, pelts, eyes, etc.), tanning availability, shipping speeds and costs, and your ability and timeline to pay off the custom mount. Typically, when I receive all the supplies I need, soft mounts and smaller traditional mounts are done within a month or so. This does not apply to deer/gamehead shoulder mounts.
